Our Story
Why Generous Chat?
We’re late to the game, and I know there are tons of live chat software out there. But none of them really seem to hit that sweet spot between simplicity, features, and pricing.
You either get a basic live chat with a brain-dead AI, or you end up with an enterprise-level chat solution that might just cost you your house.
I started Generous Chat because I was fed up with confusing pricing structures and features you never actually use.
I mean, what’s a token, and why should I care about how many I use?
Generous Chat is an Australian company, and we’ve simplified everything. All features are included in every plan—no hidden upgrades. The only thing you pay for are the messages per month and AI credits, which don’t expire every month. You’re simply paying for what you use.
We use Dialogflow (Google’s conversational AI) and OpenAI together, or separately, to create powerful workflows—whether it's basic customer support or more advanced conversations. It can be as simple or as complex as you need, giving you room to scale without stress.
